Photographing Yellow Birch Bark

Photographing Yellow Birch Bark

The nature preserve I’ve been exploring lately has a lot of Yellow Birch Trees. I didn’t know a lot about this tree, so I’ve been doing some research and learning more about them. Before the leaves have developed in the early Spring, the bark is the most interesting part of the tree. The horizontal lenticels and the peeling bark were fun to photograph.
